Victoria Quiros Cordero
Postdoc
Victoria holds a double major in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Costa Rica, along with a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech. During her doctoral studies, under the guidance of Prof. Natalie Stingelin and Prof. Carlos Silva, she developed fully solution-processed optical microcavities for polariton-based technologies and characterized organic and two-dimensional metal-halide exciton-polaritons in the time domain. Currently, as a Columbia Quantum Initiative Postdoctoral Fellow in the Schuck and Delor Labs, she investigates the cooperativity and transport of quantum-confined excitons and seeks to advance nonlinear optics by developing devices utilizing emergent semiconductors.
