Our new Nature Photonics paper titled "Towards compact phase-matched and waveguided nonlinear optics in atomically layered semiconductors", is now online.

Congratulations to lead author Xinyi Xu, as well as new group member Dr. Chiara Trovatello, on this excellent study! The work, highlighting the potential of 3R-stacked transition metal dichalcogenides for micro/nanoscale integrated quantum photonics, was a collaboration with the groups of Dmitri Basov (Columbia University) and Giulio Cerullo (Politecnico di Milano).  A press release summarizing the work can be found here.
